Following her trails I try to give my touch…..

Sardines, as many among you are well aware, are characterised super food packed with omega 3, and much nutrients in the row. This particular dish is prepared in authentic way, and compliments with boiled rice for a sumptuous meal. The aroma of fresh coconut and fresh coconut oil and the tangy taste definitely enhances the taste buds.
Ingredients
Fresh Sardines 5 medium
Turmeric powder
Water
Salt
Shallots 1 Cup
Green Chilli. 5 nos
Turmeric Powder. 1/2 Tsp
Ginger. 1 Tbsp
Cambodge. 2 flakes
Salt to taste, Curry leaves
Freshly grated coconut. 1 Cup
Turmeric Powder. 1/2 Tsp
Green Chilli. 2 nos
Garlic.(optional) very small piece (2 mm sq )
Water. 1 and half Cup
Curry leaves,Salt to taste
Coconut oil 2 Tbsp
Preparation
Brush the cleaned fresh Sardines with salt and turmeric and keep aside for few minutes.
In a shallow cooking pot add the brushed Sardines with all the ingredients listed in set 2 and cook on low flame as to enable the Sardines infused in the flavours, to make dish more tasty. Cook covered for 10 minutes stirring intermittently.
Pusle together the ingredients listed in set 3 and add it to the sardines incorporating well. Let the extra water content semi dry to leave the dish in juicy consistency before turning off the flame.
Drizzle the coconut oil on the top to enhance the taste, removing it from flame. Let it stay covered. Just mix and serve hot. Try out this and do comment…

Every taste can be customised to individual taste shifts, can increase the cambodge as to make it more tangy, opt out garlic, increase the spicy taste with more green chillis….
